  • Reduced brake safety and stability from unequal brake effect
  • Unequal and disproportionate wear on the pads, leading to damaged discs
  • Brake noise from rattling brake pads/clip rattle

If an adjustment bar is fitted, check for wear at the support point with the shoe as this can cause poor adjustment
